  2.   Thank you for reviewing WebLord!

  4.   WebLord is a concept far more advanced than mere HTML editors; it is a
  5.   simple language that recursively constructs pages from patterns. The
  6.   easiest(?) way to describe WebLord is as a "web site compiler."
  7.  
  8.   Please read (perhaps print out) this README file, as it contains
  9.   instructions to help get a small feel for what WebLord can do. Nothing,
  10.   however, can replace your active experimentation and careful attention to
  11.   the software's documentation!
  12.  
  13.   WebLord does not currently have a graphic user interface (GUI), but this
  14.   addition is in the design phases and hoped to be available in early 1998.
  15.   Please do not let the plain appearance of WebLord deter you from giving
  16.   the software a workout: Your favorite text editor and the documentation
  17.   in your favorite HTML (Web) browser is all that you will require to
  18.   explore WebLord's unique concepts.

  21.   INSTALLATION

  23.   WebLord requires no special installation process, so no Installer has
  24.   been included. Simply extract the archive whereever you wish the software
  25.   to reside and start using it!  If you later wish to move it, just copy
  26.   the entire directory.

  29.   LEARNING TO USE WEBLORD
  30.  
  31.   WebLord offers an enormous amount of power. If you will NOT read the
  32.   documentation you are NOT doing yourself a favor. To learn of what
  33.   WebLord is capable, you must study the documentation. No programming is
  34.   required, but some skill in that field will certainly be helpful.

  36.   You need to know at least something about HTML. This is less difficult
  37.   than you may think, and a brief section on HTML has been included in the
  38.   documentation to get you started, just in case that you are new to the
  39.   World Wide Web.

  42.   WHERE TO START?
  43.  
  44.   There is a file 'Starter.wl' in WebLord's directory. Process ("compile")
  45.   this file in the following way:
  46.  
  47.   From the Workbench:    double-click on the 'WebLordDemo' icon. This has
  48.             been setup to process the 'Starter.wl' file.
  49.  
  50.   From the CLI:        execute the command  "WebLordDemo Starter.wl"
  51.  
  52.   Four files will be written to the current directory. Starter1a.html,
  53.   Starter1b.html, Starter2.html, and the file Demo.html. This last file,
  54.   Demo.html, already has an icon setup for you on the Workbench, so you can
  55.   view the file. It contains links to the other three files.
